First Phase of our Vacation

Remy and I flew to Philadelphia airport where we were met by Bert and Tessie Macasieb. We spent a couple of days there before the wedding. We gambled at the local casino. Played golf at the public golf course and went back to Philadelphia to pick up Vangie and Marilou. Here are pictures of their house and us getting ready to go to the wedding in Princeton.

Believe it or not, a car load of Pilipinos actually got to the wedding on time. I managed a few shots before going inside, then a couple of the ceremony.

The wedding was beautiful, but the reception was out of this world. The guests gathered at the Hyatt in Princeton and were welcomed with millions of hors de voirs. Everything from seafood to pasta. And then we went in for the main courses. All the normal wedding events and speeches followed, click on the pictures below. I think I caught most of them. I guess I was too busy with the chocolate fountain and thousands of desserts to click a picture of the final extravagances of the evening.

The next day there was another reception at Esmy and Remi's house where we enjoyed a sumptuous feast again. They had every thing from lamb to pig. I was partial to the lamb, Remy to the pig. After we stuffed ourseselves we journeyed on to Romy's place in Ocean City or to our Marriott exchange outside of Atlantic City. Here the MIT fellows had their reunion. It was a little early for the beach.

While there we played some golf at the Marriott.

We did a day trip to New York City where we saw the broadway play "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof". Also took in the building views.

The we did a day trip on a very rainy day to Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and a bus tour of the city in the rain. I got a picture of "Rocky's" steps to the library.

Vangie and MaryLou followed us to Corpus Christi, Texas. We spent one day driving around to see the local sites.

Vangie and Marilou followed us back to Corpus Christi. So we made a side trip to San Antonio, TX. To take in the Alamo and the River Walk.
